We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Construction Project Manager to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Management:
    • Formulate and execute a comprehensive project plan, ensuring compliance with established schedules and budgetary limits.
    • Supervise all stages of construction projects, from inception to completion, ensuring a seamless transition to the client.
    • Strive to exceed project timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
    • Collaborate closely with Assistant Project Managers, providing guidance and training to ensure their success.
  • Financial Oversight:
    • Track project budgets, expenditures, and financial outcomes, making necessary adjustments to uphold profitability.
    • Negotiate agreements with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure accurate project scope and pricing.
    • Ensure all contracts are finalized and signed prior to project initiation.
    • Authorize all invoices for completed work during the billing cycle.
    • Manage client billing processes using AIA forms.
  • Risk Assessment:
    • Identify potential risks and challenges, developing proactive strategies for mitigation.
    • Maintain ongoing communication with preconstruction and estimating teams to address all risks.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulations and timely completion of inspections.
    • Foster positive relationships with Field Superintendents and subcontractors.
    • Act as a liaison between office and field operations, promoting open communication.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Serve as the main contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any inquiries.
    • Build strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional project delivery.
    • Represent Anchor Construction with professionalism in all interactions with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager with a proven track record.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations (OSHA).
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Estimating and Take-Off Software (Planswift/Bluebeam), Procore, MS Project, and other relevant technologies.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
