We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Construction Project Manager to enhance our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning and Management:
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive project plan, ensuring compliance with established schedules and budgetary limits.
- Supervise all stages of construction projects, from inception to completion, ensuring a seamless transition to the client.
- Strive to exceed project timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with Assistant Project Managers, providing guidance and training to ensure their success.
- Financial Oversight:
- Track project budgets, expenditures, and financial outcomes, making necessary adjustments to uphold profitability.
- Negotiate agreements with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure accurate project scope and pricing.
- Ensure all contracts are finalized and signed prior to project initiation.
- Authorize all invoices for completed work during the billing cycle.
- Manage client billing processes using AIA forms.
- Risk Assessment:
- Identify potential risks and challenges, developing proactive strategies for mitigation.
- Maintain ongoing communication with preconstruction and estimating teams to address all risks.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and timely completion of inspections.
- Foster positive relationships with Field Superintendents and subcontractors.
- Act as a liaison between office and field operations, promoting open communication.
- Client Engagement:
- Serve as the main contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any inquiries.
- Build strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional project delivery.
- Represent Anchor Construction with professionalism in all interactions with stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager with a proven track record.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations (OSHA).
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Estimating and Take-Off Software (Planswift/Bluebeam), Procore, MS Project, and other relevant technologies.
