In this position, you will:
  • Work closely with the chief internal auditor to formulate and execute the annual audit strategy.
  • Develop audit scopes, objectives, and deliverables for complex audit projects.
  • Conduct thorough internal audits, ensuring compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Review audit documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring adherence to professional standards.
  • Analyze management operations and internal control systems to assess reliability and compliance.

  • Participate in agency-wide initiatives and collaborate with management to achieve set objectives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional certifications such as CGAP, CISA, CIA, or CPA.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in auditing or financial operations, with at least two years in a leadership role.


Physical and Work Environment

This role may require occasional travel and the ability to work beyond standard hours. Candidates should be prepared to engage in various physical activities as necessary for the position.
