Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage complex healthcare problems of patients in acute care settings.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based care plans.
  • Provide expert consultation to nursing staff and other healthcare providers regarding patient care.
  • Design and conduct educational programs and in-services to enhance nursing knowledge and practice.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote patient safety and quality of care.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, facilitating professional development and competency.
  • Conduct research and participate in scholarly activities to advance nursing practice and patient care outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies related to acute care practices.

Requirements:
  • Current RN license in Washington.
  • Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care settings.
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and commitment to professional development.
