Territory Sales Manager

The Territory Manager is a key role within Colgate-Palmolive, responsible for managing a customer base of veterinary clinics and specialty pet retail stores. This position requires a strong understanding of the pet nutrition market and the ability to develop and execute strategies to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a customer base of veterinary clinics and specialty pet retail stores, building net sales, volume, market share, and brand recommended most often (BRMO) while improving product mix
* Promote and merchandise Hill's products and services, implementing the Perfect Clinic/Store program where applicable
* Develop creative customer-specific strategies and joint plans to achieve results, based on customer analysis
* Leverage Hill's commercial and professional programs to drive product experience, awareness of outstanding formulation and taste, and generate professional endorsement, improving sales and market share in the clinic
* Roll out new product launches and detail products to clinic staff, leading to increased in-store presence and market leadership for all products
* Comply with all policies and standards
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills, highly competitive, tenacious, and self-motivated
* Excellent skills in time management, planning, and handling budgets
* At least 2 years of sales experience or recent commercial internship or sales experience in animal health
* Ability to relocate for future opportunities
Travel Requirements
* Expected percentage of time in the field: 90%
