Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is actively seeking a Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in providing high-quality laboratory services to our clients.

As a Clinical Laboratory Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic environment where your expertise will contribute to the success of our operations. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package for qualified candidates, and this position may begin as an initial contract with opportunities for extension based on performance.

Position Compensation:

  • $45/hour with additional shift differentials for evening and night shifts

Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct a comprehensive range of automated and manual laboratory tests across various disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, and microbiology, adhering to established protocols.
+ Assess specimen quality and prepare samples for analysis, ensuring the integrity of physiological properties.
+ Select and execute test procedures, monitoring their performance and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
+ Implement quality control measures on laboratory equipment and maintain accurate records for compliance.
+ Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring optimal functionality through routine checks and adjustments.
+ Analyze data validity in relation to testing protocols and correlate results with patient histories for accuracy.
+ Perform additional tests as necessary to clarify abnormal findings and promptly communicate critical results to medical personnel.
+ Manage the input and verification of laboratory results within the laboratory information system.Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field from an accredited program.
+ Graduation from a medical technology program recognized by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS).
+ Current certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT).
+ At least one year of relevant experience within the last five years.
+ Candidates must be capable of performing physical tasks associated with laboratory work, including lifting and carrying specimens as needed.
