The MIL Corporation is in search of an IT Asset Management Specialist for a full-time role. This position focuses on providing both technical and administrative assistance in the realm of IT procurement and inventory oversight, ensuring accurate maintenance of records and databases for hardware assets, while also delivering hands-on technical support for IT infrastructure.

This role currently necessitates an on-site presence, with the schedule subject to adjustments based on company or contract requirements.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with fellow IT personnel to oversee IT asset reporting and maintain quality control throughout the asset lifecycle.
Process shipping requests for remote clients.
Conduct inventory audits and reconcile newly acquired IT assets with purchase orders.
Document inventory details in the asset tracking system and label IT equipment with barcodes.
Oversee the preparation and dissemination of reports pertinent to asset management.
Monitor and manage hardware warranties, facilitating the processing of defective items through warranty programs.
Ensure that equipment from unassigned workstations is properly inventoried.
Assist clients in the disposal of broken or outdated IT equipment.

Required Qualifications
Experience in identifying, tracking, disposing of, and reporting on IT assets.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Technical knowledge of ITSM asset administration systems and familiarity with ITAM best practices.
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to juggle various tasks.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.
Strong customer service orientation and the ability to tailor technical communication to meet user needs.
Desired Qualifications

Certifications:
CHAMP, CITAM, A+, ITIL 3 or 4 Foundation.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
Knowledge of troubleshooting PC hardware configurations, network printers, and peripherals.
Education
BA/BS or equivalent experience.
Clearance
Must be eligible for a Public Trust clearance.

For this position, the anticipated compensation range is $65,000 - $75,000 per year. This estimate reflects the typical salary range and is just one component of MIL's complete compensation package.
