Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

The Asset Management Specialist will enhance processes for cataloging current assets, managing the disposal of end-of-life (EOL) assets, and coordinating replacements as necessary, adhering to established governmental procedures and tools.


• Collaborate with federal management to refine and implement processes


• Maintain accurate asset records


• Oversee asset disposal


• Prepare assets for disposal


• Report on inventoried assets


• Document disposed assets


• Engage in special projects as needed


• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with supervisors and government clients


• Proficient in computer applications

Your performance will be evaluated based on the accuracy of asset inventories and the prompt reporting of inventory and disposal activities.

Qualifications:


• Education: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or a related discipline.


• Required Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience


• Required Technical Skills:


• Familiarity with Mobile Device assets


• In-depth understanding of asset management processes and protocols


• Strong skills in inventory and cost management


• Knowledge of various licensing frameworks and hardware contracts


• Proficient in ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow


• Experienced in asset scanning technologies and methodologies


• Ability to identify and develop workflows


• Willingness to undergo random drug screening


• Potential for occasional travel


• Asset Management Certification is preferred


• Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/DOE Q

Skills and Abilities:


• Excellent Customer Service orientation


• Preferred Skills: Experience with Sunflower Asset Management Systems is advantageous
