Grant Administrator Job Opportunity

Creative Financial Staffing is partnering with a non-profit organization in Hartford to find a skilled Grant Administrator. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and organizational skills, as well as a background in non-profit work.

About the Opportunity
  • Flexible office hours, with the option to start between 8-9 am
  • 40 hour work week, with no overtime expected
  • Reports to the CFO, who is hands-on but not a micromanager
  • Training offered
  • Compensation: $56-65K
  • HYBRID AFTER TRAINING
    • After training, work 2 days at home
    • Tuesday and Wednesday in the office (Can pick the other day you work from the office)
Duties of the Grant Administrator
  • Review grants and associated documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Verify information is current and correctly updated in the system
  • Confirm grants are directed to approved non-profit organizations
  • Handle various payment cycles, which can vary significantly
  • Adjust for unique terms and timelines of each grant
  • Contact grant officers to clarify or resolve discrepancies
  • Answer questions from grantees regarding their grants or the process
