Accounting Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting, balance sheet, and forecasting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and deposits.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Process monthly sales tax returns and ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits, working closely with auditors and providing necessary documentation and schedules.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and consolidations, and oversee inventory management to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist in preparation of annual budgets and participate in special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
