Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Construction Technician to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Construction Technician, you will play a critical role in the development of our infrastructure, including the installation of cable trays, server racks, and other essential systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist higher-level technicians and team leads in building out infrastructure, including pulling cable, fiber, and learning color codes.
  • Install cable trays and pathways, and build server racks.
  • Perform pre-termination procedures, including organizing, forming, and dressing cables.
  • Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cable as required.
  • Perform fire-stopping procedures on fire walls, install sleeves, and pull cable through sleeves and core penetration.
  • Terminate low-voltage devices.
  • Follow prints and complete all paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Adhere to and participate in all Company, customer, and industry quality and safety standards and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work with hands and learn new skills.
  • Experience in construction, electrical, or cable installation.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be flexible with hours.
  • Punctuality and strong work ethic.
