Clinical Coordinator for Stroke and Sepsis Programs

Become a vital part of a leading healthcare organization seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to take on the role of Clinical Coordinator for Stroke and Sepsis Programs. This position is essential for enhancing patient care and outcomes in critical areas.

  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Working Hours: Standard business hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and develop the Primary Stroke Certification Program
  • Facilitate monthly meetings for the Stroke and Sepsis Program Committee
  • Support data gathering and analysis related to stroke and sepsis cases
  • Ensure adherence to established protocols and best practices
  • Deliver educational sessions on stroke and sepsis management
  • Collaborate with local organizations to promote awareness initiatives
  • Serve as a resource for patients and their families
  • Perform additional related duties as necessary

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience in critical care environments
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license
  • Prior experience working with Stroke and Sepsis patients
  • Understanding of Quality Improvement in Stroke and Sepsis care
  • Strong assessment and documentation capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
