5 years of experience in managing cross-functional and/or cross-team initiatives. 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Software Infrastructure Engineering, Security, Big Data and Analytics, or Cloud Networking.

Experience collaborating within a distributed and highly integrated team comprising both technical and non-technical members.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead multifaceted engineering projects, utilizing your engineering acumen. You will define requirements with internal stakeholders and guide projects through the entire lifecycle, including managing schedules, identifying risks, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders.

Your extensive technical and leadership expertise will enable you to manage projects of varying sizes and scopes, identify future opportunities, enhance processes, and drive the technical direction of your programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver software development and project management, ensuring cross-functional coordination and effective communication within and between teams to achieve outstanding program outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, QA, Product Managers, and other engineering teams to ensure high-quality products and features are delivered through the software project lifecycle (build, test, and release on schedule).
  • Manage project timelines, proactively identify potential issues, and communicate them clearly to project stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of release schedules and milestones, maintaining a high pace in a dynamic environment.
  • Lead multiple technical programs for the Google Cloud Business, prioritizing products and engineering efforts, guiding cross-functional teams to market products, ensuring success metrics inform future initiatives, and swiftly adjusting the program as necessary.
