Research Program Manager

The Stanford University Division of Sleep Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences seeks a highly skilled Research Program Manager to lead daily operations and oversee the clinical trial program.
This critical role will work closely with basic science researchers, clinical research coordinators, university offices, and external collaborators to advance the understanding of sleep and neuroimmune disorders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising the execution of clinical trials and managing staffing needs
- Representing the Mignot Lab as the primary liaison with sponsors and Stanford University departments
- Developing and submitting funding applications, managing data and material transfer agreements, and ensuring compliance with university and federal policies
- Working with the lab's Sr. Basic Life Research Scientist to ensure smooth operations for the Mignot wet lab research
The ideal candidate must have:
- A Master's degree in a related field and five years of experience in clinical research or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Previous experience supervising staff and project management experience
- Experience working in an academic setting managing clinical trial studies, including knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA and FDA regulations, Institutional Review Board requirements, and Good Clinical Practices
We offer a competitive salary range of $99,015 - $126,383 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
