Illuminarium is a leading experiential entertainment company that creates immersive and engaging experiences for its guests. As a Guest Service Agent, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable time at our venue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate the point of sale system, ticket kiosks, and other equipment to process transactions and manage guest admissions.
  • Assist guests with the use of self-service ticket kiosks and provide recommendations on ticket and admission packages.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Illuminarium's products, promotions, and services to effectively engage with guests and provide informed responses to their inquiries.
  • Perform end-of-shift cash handling and logging of receipts and vouchers.
  • Support group sales by printing tickets and assisting with group movements and birthday parties as needed.
  • Effectively resolve guest service issues and queries, ensuring that all guests have a positive experience at our venue.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years Guest Service Experience in a high-volume environment; prior proven cash handling is required.
  • Basic math skills; ability to accurately count change and balance bank.
  • Ability to stand long hours, lift and transport items weighing 10-20 pounds, occasionally 30 pounds.
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks, including constant reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
  • Eye for detail, flexibility in daily tasks, problem solver, results-oriented.
  • Must consistently maintain a positive and welcoming demeanor, be commercially focused, and self-motivated.
  • Able to retain detailed information related to all Illuminarium products, promotions, and services.
  • Ability to address guests in a professional manner and have a commanding presence.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a ticket service operation.
  • Foreign language proficiency in Spanish.
