Position Overview:

As one of the leading insurance brokerage firms in the United States, Alliant delivers a comprehensive array of insurance services to clients across the nation, encompassing property and casualty, workers' compensation, employee benefits, surety, and financial products.

SUMMARY

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Employee Benefit Account Executives to develop client-focused strategies.
  • Oversee a portfolio of clients and lead a diverse service team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Account Manager responsibilities and knowledge requirements.
  • Partner with a mentor Account Executive to manage an assigned portfolio.
  • Effectively communicate the renewal process to clients across all coverage areas.
  • Assist in formulating multi-year strategic plans for clients.
  • Support Account Executive in client financials and renewal discussions.
  • Present client renewal information effectively, including marketing analytics.
  • Actively participate in the team mentorship program.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
  • Ensure timely collection of fees and address outstanding balances promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and complete information in agency management systems.
  • Perform additional assigned duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Seven (7) or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Valid insurance license.
  • Expertise in self-insurance and alternative funding mechanisms.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Employee Benefit products and benefit administration.
SKILLS
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management capabilities.
  • Professional presentation skills and experience in conducting open enrollment sessions.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Team collaboration and prioritization skills for managing multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
