Job Title: Regional Sales Manager Southeast

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team in the Southeast region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with key operators, and collaborating with our broker partners to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets in the Southeast region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key operators, including regional chains, convenience store chains, and non-commercial accounts.
  • Collaborate with our broker partners to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
  • Manage and maintain pipeline integrity within our CRM platform.
  • Establish sales relationships with key regional chains and c-stores in all relative markets.
  • Negotiate program agreements (rebates/discounts) for operators as necessary.
  • Plan, schedule, develop, and execute sales trainings and new product introductions with brokers and key operators.
  • Support regional business development activities, including key food shows, sales meetings, and trade shows as necessary.
  • Regular collaboration with Division Leadership to develop regional strategies and execute national initiatives.
  • Introduce and successfully gain distribution with new products and implementing supporting programs.
  • Effectively manage MDF dollars at regional level to support growth initiatives with key Operators and Distributors.
  • Stay abreast of marketplace needs and changes to include competitive activities and report information back to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or 5+ years' experience in foodservice.
  • Foodservice Sales is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel 50%+.
  • Protein (poultry) experience preferred.
  • Ability to represent Pilgrims and sell our brand and corporate mission.
  • Strong customer relationships and negotiation skills.
  • Basic computer skills-Microsoft Office.
  • Collaborative/Accountable/Results driven/ Detail Oriented.
  • Team Player.
  • Self-Starter and willingness to learn.
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to adapt to change quickly.
  • Analytical and process oriented.
