We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Riverhead Building Supply. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide exceptional customer service, administrative support, and reception services to our employees and customers.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to our sales team, including answering phones, taking messages, and assisting with filing and order status checks.
- Make change for counter sales and provide excellent customer service.
- Support sales transactions, credit approvals, and management support.
- Receive and process special order hardware, billing, and transfers.
- Set up RTVs, receive POs, and perform hands-on bookkeeping tasks.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Reliability and a willingness to learn.
- Preferred skills include hands-on bookkeeping, MS Office experience, and excellent customer service.
