We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team at CivicMinds, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, this individual will play a vital role in the development and implementation of treatment plans for pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Treatment Planning

Collaborate with physicians and other medical personnel to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

Patient Education

Provide educational information to patients and their families on various topics related to child growth and development, including healthy habits, nutrition, and disease management.

Medication Management

Prescribe medications as necessary and order immunizations to ensure optimal patient care.

Documenting Patient Information

Accurately document all relevant patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care.

Referrals and Consultations

Refer patients to specialists when necessary and coordinate consultations to ensure timely and effective treatment.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • A current, unrestricted Pediatric Nurse Practitioner license in Tennessee.
  • Prior experience as an APRN or PA in diabetes and obesity management or internal or family medicine or primary care with a focus on chronic conditions is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Nurse Practitioner certification is a plus (Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care or Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care).
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
