Staff Development Specialist RN

As a Staff Development Specialist RN, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the continued competence and professional development of our nursing staff. This position requires a systematic approach to assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational activities that promote lifelong learning and improved patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess learning needs and develop targeted educational programs
- Plan and implement educational activities that integrate the nursing process and evidence-based research
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Participate in and contribute to the development of organizational policies and procedures related to nursing education and staff development
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote a culture of excellence and continuous quality improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field, with a focus on nursing education and staff development
- Current RN licensure and AHA BLS certification
- Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing or related field, ANCC Board Certification, and computer literacy
