Business Development Specialist - Systems Sales

At Intertape Polymer Group (IPG), we are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue through the development of new sales opportunities and the expansion of existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the market and application expert for assigned products, providing technical guidance and support to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and net CM$ goals, working closely with Territory Managers and Director of Sales.
  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities, managing the sales cycle from initial contact to close.
  • Collaborate with distributors to identify and pursue complex end-user opportunities, providing training and support as needed.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sales strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 2 years of business development or sales experience in a related field, preferably in industrial or packaging sales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel independently, both domestically and internationally.
