Spiritual Care Counselor for Hospice Patients

Coverage area: Washington DC
Key Responsibilities- Provide spiritual care and support to hospice patients and their families
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in spiritual care
- Competitive salary range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
- Monday - Friday schedule with occasional on-call duties
- Three units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) required

Requirements- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Ordained, credentialed, or commissioned according to a legitimate religious organization or faith tradition
- Three CPE units from ACPE or equivalencies granted per established guidelines
- Previous hospice experience preferred; minimum one-year supervised experience in a medical, educational, or religious agency
