Overview

AccentCare aims to reimagine care and provide world-class patient care. We are seeking a Spiritual Care Counselor to join our team and contribute to this mission.

Coverage area: Washington DC

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide spiritual care and support to hospice patients and their families
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in spiritual care
Benefits
  • Competitive salary range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
  • Monday - Friday schedule with occasional on-call duties
  • Three units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) required

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Ordained, credentialed, or commissioned according to a legitimate religious organization or faith tradition
  • Three CPE units from ACPE or equivalencies granted per established guidelines
  • Previous hospice experience preferred; minimum one-year supervised experience in a medical, educational, or religious agency
