Hospice CNA Job Opportunity

At Hospice Of Virginia – an Addus family company, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice CNA to provide exceptional patient care in Tappahannock and surrounding counties.

About the Role

We offer a competitive salary of $$43,500 - $52,000 per year, comprehensive benefits, and a generous time off program. As a Hospice CNA, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients and families during their end-of-life journey.

Job Description

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care, including bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene
  • Assisting with dressing and undressing patients
  • Planning and preparing nutritious meals, including grocery shopping
  • Feeding patients
  • Monitoring patients' skin health to prevent tissue breakdown
  • Reporting patient conditions and significant changes to Case Managers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be certified as a nurse aide by the state
  • Maintain current CPR certification
  • Have a clear record on the state aid registry
  • Be at least 18 years old (or meet state requirements)
  • Hold a valid driver's license with insurance
