Job Summary

As a Spiritual Care Specialist with LADGOV CORPORATION, you will provide essential pastoral support to residents at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Washington, DC. This role involves conducting daily visitations, leading Mass services, and performing sacraments in accordance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily pastoral visitation to Armed Forces Retirement Home residents as part of the overall chaplain pastoral support program.
  • Lead Mass services on Sunday and weekdays, as determined between the priest, congregation, and AFRH.
  • Perform rites and sacraments, such as Eucharist, Reconciliation, and Sacrament of the Sick, in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist the AFRH in developing and conducting religious services, including special services to observe special days and occasions.
  • Support the vision and goals of pastoral care as outlined by the Standard Operating Procedures of the AFRH.
  • Set up religious facilities, equipment, and liturgical appointments for programs and worship services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a college, university, or theological school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
  • Documentation of current endorsement or good standing in the Catholic faith.
  • Proven experience in similar roles within medical settings.
