Job Title: Assistant Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Mojitobar. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our bar, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our bar runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bar Operations: Manage the bar's inventory, including ordering and stocking of supplies, and ensure that all bar equipment is in good working order.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train bar staff, including bartenders, servers, and hosts/hostesses, to ensure that they are providing excellent service and meeting our high standards.
  • Financial Management: Manage the bar's finances, including cash handling, inventory management, and budgeting.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns to drive sales and increase customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
