About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at First Coast Energy. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our convenience stores and fuel sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including managing inventory, controlling expenses, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train store associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Financial Management: Assist with financial tasks, including managing cash handling, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies, including health and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Previous leadership experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, associates, and management.
  • Inventory Management: Familiarity with inventory management software and procedures.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to safely lift 55 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
