Job Overview

Mid-State Machine is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Services Field Development Manager to drive the growth of our commercial and industrial electrical service accounts in Florida. This role involves cultivating strong relationships with clients, providing technical solutions to enhance business efficiency, and ensuring safe operating electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from identifying potential clients to securing deals.
  • Cultivate long-term partnerships through proactive engagement and networking.
  • Conduct routine audits and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for client projects.
  • Oversee quality control measures for on-site work.
  • Schedule subcontractors to meet project timelines and milestones.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations team for timely project execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across multiple levels within client organizations.
  • Execute plans to ensure consistent communication with existing customers and key prospects.
  • Identify and capture profitable revenue opportunities.
  • Attend trade meetings to gather information and establish contacts.
  • Resolve post-sale client issues effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry experience (5+ years) in lieu of a degree.
  • Electrical field experience required.
  • Prior sales or marketing experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Experience in power generation and pulp & paper industries preferred.
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in preparing electronic take-offs and estimates.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
