Project Manager Opportunity

Dewberry Engineers Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our MEPS Infrastructure teams in designing electrical, mechanical, and structural systems for water/wastewater projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing planning, design, and construction phase projects, interfacing with other engineering disciplines, and coordinating with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage electrical, mechanical, and structural design teams on water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with Design Discipline Managers to schedule, plan, and assign personnel.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to the MEPS Infrastructure project team and clients.
  • Prepare design proposals, support project pursuits, and engage in client management and business development activities.
  • Employ earned value and quality management principles to prepare and monitor project work plans, schedule, and budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive design and project management experience, minimum 4+ years in the water/wastewater market.
  • Accomplished Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, or ability to obtain them through reciprocity within 90 days of start date.
  • Experience coordinating engineering work and interfacing with other disciplines as needed.
  • Self-motivated with highly developed verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
