IBCS Material Fielding Supervisor

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking an IBCS Material Fielding Supervisor to lead our dynamic team of professionals. The selected individual will oversee the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS) Material Fielding Team.

Your role will involve guiding the IBCS Material Fielding Team towards the successful execution of various tasks and objectives, including the formulation of a comprehensive Material Fielding Plan. You will engage with government representatives, conduct site assessments, facilitate end-user interactions, manage on-site resources, and evaluate the performance of material fielding initiatives against established plans. As the Material Fielding Supervisor, you will also conduct the New Material In-brief and oversee the distribution of IBCS equipment to users globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate under the guidance of the IBCS Logistics Program Manager.
  • Lead the Material Fielding Team, comprising logisticians, military trainers, and training developers.
  • Assist in the creation of Memorandum of Notification (MON) alongside the IFMC logistics director.
  • Support the development and presentation of the New Material Introductory Brief (NMIB).
  • Complete tasks related to the creation of a Material Fielding Plan.
  • Engage with government material fielding teams.
  • Conduct site surveys for fielding.
  • Coordinate with end-users effectively.
  • Manage Northrop Grumman's fielding resources on-site.
  • Assess the performance of material fielding against the planned objectives.
  • Conduct the New Material In-brief and supervise the delivery of IBCS equipment to global end-users.
  • Develop, organize, and lead a cohesive team of trainers, supply support personnel, and field service representatives.
  • Ensure adherence to Statement of Work requirements and facilitate team understanding of tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 14 years of experience in Material Fielding or related roles with a High School diploma; or 10 years with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years with a Master's degree.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills across various levels within the organization and with government customers.
  • Ability to prepare briefing materials, reports, and articulate information clearly to senior management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Material Fielding requirements.
  • Proven experience in supporting programs to achieve full material release.
  • Experience in training development and updating standard training materials.
  • Capability to adhere to Statement of Work requirements and ensure team compliance.
  • Experience in managing complex integrated resource schedules.
  • Ability to estimate resource needs and assess costs related to fielding operations.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management and resource allocation.
  • Experience in developing resource, cost, and schedule estimates for proposals.
  • Demonstrated positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to team success.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Possession of an Active Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NG CAM certification.
  • Experience in conducting or leading fielding operations.
  • Ability to manage customer expectations and collaborate with government counterparts.
  • Prior experience in developing and delivering MON and NMIB.
  • Expertise in US Army fielding regulations.
  • Strong understanding of Material Fielding requirements.
  • Ability to work across logistics and engineering disciplines.
  • Experience in estimating resource needs and costs for fielding operations.
