Systems Integration Engineer

The selected candidates will work closely with both military and civilian teams to ensure the effective deployment, operation, and maintenance of the IBCS system.


Key Responsibilities:


This role involves delivering technical support services to maintain and sustain deployed IBCS systems, equipment, and software across various locations.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the IBCS program.
  • Integrate and maintain systems utilizing Red Hat Enterprise Linux and incorporate COTS/GOTS products with IBCS systems.
  • Assist in the setup and initialization of the IBCS system.
  • Provide guidance to clients regarding the capabilities and limitations of the IBCS system.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts for IBCS hardware, software, and networks.
  • Relay feedback to program leadership concerning system performance and user experiences.
  • Execute operator and maintainer tasks on equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software.
  • Conduct training sessions as necessary.
  • Support the Program Help Desk as required.
  • Perform scheduled equipment inventories.
Qualifications

Education:
BS degree with five (5) years of relevant experience; six (6) years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree (per contract).

Clearance:
Must hold an active DoD Secret Clearance.

Skills:
Experience with tactical networks and troubleshooting, in-field operator training, and computer systems and network troubleshooting are essential. Strong oral communication skills, the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure situations, and the capability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines are also required.

Certifications:
Security+ certification is required. CompTIA Linux+ certification or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire is also necessary.
