About the Role

QuidelOrtho is seeking a highly skilled Plastics Engineer I to join our team in a technical support role. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and guidance to suppliers and internal stakeholders on plastic component-related issues.
  • Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality plastic components.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure compliance with QuidelOrtho's quality standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in plastics engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of plastics engineering, supply chain management, and quality assurance.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working Environment

The work environment is representative of an office environment with occasional travel required. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.

Salary Transparency

The salary range for this position is $68,000 to $116,000 and is bonus eligible. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off, and paid Holidays.
