Job Description

The Market Development Account Manager is a critical role at Teva Pharmaceuticals, responsible for securing access to and reimbursement for our psychiatric products and therapies. This position requires a strong understanding of the mental health industry and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to secure access to and reimbursement for Teva's psychiatric products and therapies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, including healthcare institutions, hospitals, clinics, mental health facilities, specialty pharmacies, and government organizations.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to key accounts, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Teva's psychiatric products and therapies.
  • Identify and address the unique needs and challenges of each key account, proposing customized solutions that align with Teva's products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain, to address customer needs and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of key account relationships and regularly report progress to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Biotech/Pharma experience, including customer-facing responsibility.
  • Successful track record of achieving sales goals.
  • Experience in pertinent settings of care (e.g. CHMCs, private practice, specialty pharmacy) and thorough understanding of reimbursement coverage and pull-through strategies.
