About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Event Sales Coordinator to join our team at Endicott College. As an Event Sales Coordinator, you will play a critical role in assisting revenue growth for Misselwood Events in both the social and corporate market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Growth: Increase revenues across all markets, including social and corporate events, such as weddings, corporate day meetings, overnight programs, and film shoots.
  • Site Tours and Sales: Conduct site tours, secure spaces and resources, and create proposals and contracts.
  • Networking and Marketing: Participate in networking events and assist with marketing efforts to promote Misselwood Events.
Event Coordination and Implementation
  • Client Communication: Communicate event expectations to clients, including documentation on beverage service, housing, food service, and audio-visual needs.
  • Event Logistics: Ensure event logistics are clearly communicated to resource departments.
  • Billings and Invoicing: Prepare additional billings and billing summaries in a timely manner.
  • Onsite Support: Serve as the onsite contact for meetings and events as needed.

Requirements
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in sales and coordination of meetings and events in a professional manner, resulting in customer satisfaction and adherence to rules and policies.
  • Education: Exemplary written and oral communication, problem-solving, and analytical ability, typically acquired through attainment of a bachelor's degree.
  • Skills: Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work quickly and thoroughly, prioritizing work based on urgency and demand. Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to navigate change and lead others through it. Availability to work evenings, weekends, to support business operations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated understanding that details matter and must be correct. Effectively learn and implement any new software system for the position. Proficient with Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Must become proficient with EMS. Knowledge of beverage service policies and procedures and the ability to determine client needs.
