Are you ready to make a difference? The Performance and Readiness Health Solutions Business Unit is on the lookout for a dedicated Military Training Specialist to join our team.
This role focuses on the development and management of training programs aimed at enhancing the resilience and psychological readiness of military personnel. You will play a crucial part in delivering programs that support the mental health of service members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert in Resilience Programs and Combat and Operational Stress Control (COSC).
- Oversee training delivery and course management.
- Collaborate directly with military units to implement resilience and toughness initiatives.
- Conduct training sessions tailored to individual or group needs.
- Gather and analyze post-training data to support program evaluations.
- Develop and maintain effective training materials and curricula.
- Engage in public speaking and outreach to promote resilience programs.
- Support project development and management related to resilience initiatives.
- Stay updated on relevant literature concerning military stress and related issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Prior military experience with demonstrated leadership skills is essential; Navy experience is preferred.
- Experience in facilitating military training courses is necessary.
- Completion of Basic Instructor Training (BIT), Journeyman Instructor Training (JIT), or Navy Instructor Training Course (NITC) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to build positive relationships with military commands and health providers.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
