Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer/Integrator to join our team in supporting the PEO IWS program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the development and integration of technical products for Aegis Combat Systems onboard ships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with government sponsors to take direction on products requiring development and keep them informed of progress and TDP delivery dates
  • Organize design team resources to ensure effective production of goods and/or services
  • Provide work direction, resolve problems, prepare schedules, and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of work
  • Prepare reports and records for the government as required
  • Manage the development of TDPs
  • Integrate products into a complete TDP
  • Interface with government sponsors
  • Prepare reports that provide a status of TDP developments
  • Ensure all components of the TDP are being developed
Requirements
  • Strongly prefer a Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA/BS) in a relevant field and 10+ years of experience as a Design Engineer/Integrator for large ships (or 15+ years of experience without a degree)
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger Navy and Marine Corps Sector
  • A US DoD Secret security clearance is required
  • US Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer candidates with AEGIS Combat Systems experience
  • Experience with Combat Systems Integration
Work Environment

This role can be located in either San Diego, CA, Norfolk, VA, Washington, DC, Chesapeake, VA or Moorestown, NJ. This role is contingent upon contract award.
