Aegis Combat Systems Trainer Technician

Join our team of skilled professionals at Huntington Ingalls Industries as a Aegis Combat Systems Trainer Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
- Performs system administration duties, such as purge log files, archive data, maintain user accounts, update passwords, scanning, and compliance reporting.
- Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Requirements:
- 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years relevant experience.
- AEGIS Combat Systems experience is required.
- Candidate must be able to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Must have combat systems tactical software experience.
Preferred:
- MS Network, Red Hat Linux, and Cisco systems experience desired.
- FC ACNT experience preferred.
- Combat Systems Maintenance Manager (CSMM) or AEGIS Network/ORTS Technician on a Baseline 9C DDG/CG experience.
