Position Summary

In the role of Technical Systems Specialist, you will assess and estimate client inquiries while crafting competitive technical solutions tailored to their requirements. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, consultants, and clients to validate and propose solutions that align with specifications while respecting budgetary and scheduling constraints. Grasp and tackle the complexities associated with the design of the organization's systems within your proposed solutions. Work in close partnership with hardware, firmware, and software development teams to oversee system requirements, ensuring their validation, verification, and distribution across various disciplines. Your contributions will span all phases of development, including requirements analysis, system development, lifecycle data verification, and testing. Additionally, you will generate and review system specifications and technical documentation, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry regulations.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering with an emphasis on hardware integration
  • Expertise in creating wiring diagrams, comprehending pinouts, and managing system requirements
  • Practical experience with qualification testing and compliance standards
  • Familiarity with DOORS or similar requirements management tools
