About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Medical Director to join our team at Companions Animal Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership and direction to our veterinary team, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical leadership and direction to our veterinary team, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and exceptional client service.
  • Develop and implement medical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with our veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to our veterinary team members, helping them to develop their skills and advance their careers.
  • Work closely with our management team to develop and implement business strategies that support the growth and success of Companions Animal Hospital.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a veterinarian, with a strong background in medical leadership and direction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our veterinary team, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed business decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
