Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate rates with transportation providers to optimize logistics costs
  • Manage the daily operations of the warehouse, prioritizing safety and efficiency
  • Write and balance daily bank deposits, ensuring accurate financial records
  • Prepare and transmit daily work logs to corporate headquarters
  • Audit daily labor and billing reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure customer needs are met on a daily basis, resolving any issues promptly
  • Supervise and train new associates, promoting a culture of safety and excellence
  • Manage site and departmental budgets, making informed decisions to drive business growth
  • Schedule associate shifts based on customer requirements, ensuring optimal productivity
  • Interview, hire, and train new associates, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment

  • Complete daily closeout, including cash balancing, data upload, and payroll record administration

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of management and leadership experience in an industrial setting
  • Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Intermediate PC skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage budgets, read and interpret P&L statements, and prepare related management reports
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive business growth and improvement
