Position Overview:
As a Field Engineer, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers and Estimators, contributing to various facets of the estimating and project management process. If you are driven, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a multi-tasking environment, this role is designed for you.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the estimating process as directed, including participation in pre-bid meetings, quantity take-offs, and sub-bid solicitations.
2. Submit weekly reports on installed quantities for productivity tracking on self-performed projects.
3. Familiarize yourself with all pertinent project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and statements of work.
4. Execute document control procedures, ensuring all relevant documents are issued to subcontractors.
5. Compile and submit submittal packages with shop drawings for approval, maintaining an updated submittal log.
6. Ensure compliance of submittals with project specifications prior to submission.
7. Maintain and update project punch lists or issues matrices.
8. Review weekly productivity reports with the Project Manager and Superintendent to identify areas for improvement.
9. Assist in the daily coordination of subcontractors and suppliers according to the project schedule.
10. Support the Project Team with onsite material purchases as necessary.
11. Help with all required documentation, including daily pre-task reports and meeting agendas/minutes.
12. Ensure proper documentation for any additional work performed.
13. Aid the Superintendent in completing 'As Built' drawings.
14. Assist in fulfilling project closeout requirements.
15. Collaborate with onsite safety personnel as needed.
16. Plan proactively in alignment with the project schedule.
17. Maintain professionalism and courtesy towards all team members at all times.

Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Primavera.
- Familiarity with BIM, GradeBeam, and Bluebeam is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret plans and specifications effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to meet deadlines and follow through on tasks.
- Knowledge of construction and scheduling methodologies.
- OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred.

Required Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is essential.
