Position Overview: The Treasury Management Relationship Manager is accountable for driving the external sales of business deposit accounts along with a comprehensive suite of Treasury products and services. This role involves cultivating robust relationships with both external clients and internal stakeholders to ensure effective referrals and tailored solutions that meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the external sales efforts for business deposit accounts and Treasury Management offerings.
  • Engage in sales discussions with existing and prospective clients in collaboration with commercial lending relationship managers and branch leadership, while also independently generating new leads.
  • Evaluate deposit statements from various financial institutions, craft detailed proposals, and present these to both new and existing clients.
  • Oversee a portfolio of clients to foster and enhance relationships.
  • Resolve complex client issues by assessing their significance and providing effective solution options tailored to client needs.
  • Install and troubleshoot remote deposit capture technology, ACH services, online wire transfers, and other Treasury products as required.
  • Promote additional services across other divisions of the bank, including Investments, Insurance, and Trust services.
  • Establish a presence in the community through active participation in service organizations and local events.
  • Assist the Treasury Management division and Commercial Lending with various tasks as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance.
  • A minimum of five years of banking experience, including at least two years in Treasury Management or Retail Banking with a proven track record in external sales.
  • Exceptional sales skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of treasury and cash management products and services.
  • Effective presentation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, internet research, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently using reliable personal transportation.

Additional Skills:

  • Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities, along with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Proficient in operating standard office equipment.
