Your Responsibilities:

In the role of Inspector, you will be crucial in ensuring the peak performance and dependability of our aircraft. You will be tasked with conducting initial inspections and ongoing surveillance of commercial-type aircraft during maintenance and repair processes. Collaborating with a skilled team of inspectors, you will oversee the inspection activities while utilizing our cutting-edge equipment. Your expertise will be vital in upholding the effectiveness and reliability of our clients' aircraft, all while adhering to FAA regulations and policies.

  • Conduct initial inspections of commercial-type aircraft following provided work instructions.
  • Evaluate and either accept or reject all necessary inspection items and non-routine tasks performed on commercial-type aircraft.
  • Utilize specialized tools and equipment to inspect aircraft and their components.
  • Perform weight and balance assessments on commercial-type aircraft and complete necessary calculations.
  • Review and audit aircraft maintenance work packages.
  • Conduct inspections and document findings related to facility evaluations.
  • Maintain records of work completed on O.J.T. forms for the training department.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required. FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in heavy commercial or military maintenance, or six months at skill level 3 mechanic.
  • Documented training on at least three (3) types of aircraft. GENERAL FAMILIARIZATION TRAINING (Preferred): MD-11, B737NG, A320, B747, B777, or B787.
  • At least two (2) years of inspection experience is required.
