Job Overview:
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently on the lookout for Aerospace Quality Assurance Inspectors with expertise in FA-18 aircraft to enhance our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes quality assurance and safety protocols to guarantee adherence to contract specifications and relevant regulations.
- Conducts inspections across various stages of goods, services, or operations to ensure compliance with established quality, health, safety, and operational standards.
- Verifies that all services outlined in the performance requirement summary are executed satisfactorily.
- Identifies areas requiring inspection (both scheduled and unscheduled) and determines the frequency of these inspections.
- Reports deficiencies to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintains comprehensive Quality Assurance documentation.
- Records outcomes of all inspections meticulously.
Security Clearance Requirement:
Candidates must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance is mandatory post-start.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in Quality Aerospace Inspection.
- At least 3 years of experience in product or process inspections.
- 3+ years of proficiency in reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime; some roles may involve rotating shifts.
- Possession of a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate. Please include your certificate number in your resume if applicable.
- At least 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or inspection on complex jet-powered aircraft, with a background in military, airline, or certified repair stations.
- Familiarity with F/A-18 or F-15 products.
Education and experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School diploma/GED) and generally 1 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate).
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates are expected to reside in the immediate area or manage relocation independently.
