Job Overview:


The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a range of mechanical tasks related to the diagnosis of issues and necessary upkeep of aircraft. This role includes disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly, and adjustment of various aircraft systems, adhering to technical specifications, engineering guidelines, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct system checkouts and major system installations.
  • Perform wing installations on F-16 aircraft.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of aircraft systems operation and maintenance, including:
    • Landing gear
    • Powerplants
    • Flight controls
    • Rigging
    • Aircraft movement

Candidates should possess prior experience in roles such as crew chiefs, plane captains, or A&P mechanics, with a strong background in aircraft maintenance. This position supports the Final Assembly surge and may have the potential for assignment extension. Experience with F-16 or similar fighter aircraft is preferred. A solid aviation background is essential. Tools are not required for this position.
