Position Overview:
Join Lockheed Martin's Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team as a Shift Supervisor for F-16 Contract Field Team (CFT) Modifications. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of F-16 Depot-level modifications and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO). As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing global AFS operations for the F-16 program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between technicians, the CFT Site Lead, and clients, facilitating daily operational activities.
- Demonstrate expertise in aircraft electrical systems and wiring maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance data collection systems, technical orders, fault isolation manuals, and local operational instructions.
- Conduct troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance of critical aircraft systems including landing gear, flight controls, engine starting, and hydraulic systems.
- Oversee all maintenance activities performed on assigned aircraft.
- Provide regular updates on work progress to the CFT Lead and clients.
- Deliver training to technicians in all aspects of aircraft maintenance and operations.
- Support product discipline, housekeeping, HAZMAT accountability, Tool & FOD controls, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Exhibit strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in a collaborative team environment, ensuring effective interaction with clients and personnel at all levels.
- Maintain documented qualifications in relevant maintenance fields.
- Physically capable of lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds and performing various physical tasks as required.
- Possess or be able to obtain a DOD secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in F-16 aircraft maintenance and modification.
- Proficient in F-16 Avionics and Electrical specialties.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with USAF products and processes related to F-16 hardware and maintenance.
- Experience in process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in managing production of status reports, metrics, and schedules.
- Knowledge of policies and procedures affecting aircraft maintenance and modification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
Security Clearance Requirement:
This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens.
Work Environment:
