We are seeking a highly skilled F-16 Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a Depot APG Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, and modifying aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and troubleshoot aircraft systems and powerplants to identify and resolve issues
- Perform repairs, overhauls, and modifications to aircraft systems and powerplants
- Comprehend and interpret technical documents, including safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear
- Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and work on or in the aircraft
- Frequently lift and/or push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or push or pull up to 50 pounds
- Perform repetitive movements and work overhead
- Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area
- Properly use, handle, and dispose of hazardous materials, and toxic or caustic chemicals per Government regulations and company procedures
- 8+ years of experience on fighter aircraft, or other military aircraft on various aircraft systems operation to include landing gear, flight controls, disassembly, re-assembly, rigging, powerplant, aircraft ground operations, and the flight line environment
- F-16 Crew Chief Experience USAF level 5 or higher
- Heavy Aircraft Mod or Depot Experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- High school education or equivalent (GED)

This position requires a government security clearance, and you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Work ScheduleThis is a full-time position with a 4x10 hour day schedule, with 3 days off per week.
