Position: Fighter Aircraft Assembly Technician
Location: Greenville, SC
Shift: 4/10 Work Week. Flexibility to work either 1st or 2nd Shift is required. 1st Shift operates from 6am to 4:30pm, while 2nd Shift runs from 4:30pm to 3am.
Contract Duration: 09 Months
Compensation: $38 per hour
Role ResponsibilitiesThe Fighter Aircraft Assembly Technician will be responsible for a range of mechanical tasks, including:
- Diagnosing malfunctions and performing necessary maintenance.
- Disassembling, reworking, repairing, replacing, reassembling, or adjusting various aircraft systems.
- Adhering to technical specifications, engineering directives, and regulatory standards.
This role specifically involves working on F-16 aircraft, including:
- Conducting system tests and test runs.
- Troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Overseeing launch and recovery operations.
- Towing and marshalling aircraft for flight.
Candidates should possess significant flightline experience, preferably with F-16s or similar fighter aircraft. Experience as a Crew Chief, Plane Captain, or in Heavy Maintenance is highly desirable.
