We are seeking a skilled Assistant Hotel Operations Manager with proven leadership capabilities to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee the daily functions of the hotel and take on the responsibilities of the GM when they are unavailable.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate the performance of various departments, identify areas for improvement, and propose strategies to enhance the hotel's profitability.
- Support the management of human resources tasks, including staff retention, motivation, and development.
- Collaborate with department heads and the General Manager to create an annual budget, conducting regular audits to ensure financial success.
- Assist in the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that all guest service standards are upheld.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the hospitality sector is required.
- A strong commitment to guest satisfaction with exceptional customer service skills.
- A high school diploma or GED is necessary; a bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a managerial role overseeing a team in the hospitality industry is essential.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities are required.
