Senior Financial Analyst - Fixed-term Contract

Position Overview: We are on the lookout for a driven Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. In this capacity, you will leverage your financial acumen and analytical prowess to aid in the creation and upkeep of comprehensive financial models, generate insightful scenarios, and craft user-friendly dashboards within our FP&A tool, Pigment. Your contributions will be vital in facilitating data-driven decision-making and enhancing financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Systems & Tools: Become adept at using Pigment, capitalizing on its advanced functionalities to refine our financial planning and analysis workflows. Optimize financial processes through automation and integration with other systems while staying updated on industry best practices and advancements in FP&A tools.
  • Dashboard & Reporting Development: Assist in designing and constructing interactive dashboards in Pigment to effectively visualize essential financial metrics and insights. Customize reports to align with the specific requirements of stakeholders and senior management, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all models, dashboards, and reports.
  • Financial Modeling & Scenario Analysis: Aid in the development and maintenance of intricate financial models in Pigment to project revenue, expenses, and cash flow. Create various scenarios to evaluate the implications of different business decisions and market conditions, conducting sensitivity analysis and stress testing to pinpoint potential risks and opportunities.
  • Accounting Support & Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide analytical assistance to the Director of Finance as necessary, including tasks related to financial reporting and analysis. Conduct ad hoc analyses to address specific business inquiries and support strategic initiatives, while also assisting in the preparation of presentations and communicating findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
  • Proven proficiency in FP&A tools (such as Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive, Abacum, etc.) or comparable platforms.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and principles is advantageous.
  • Strong modeling capabilities and experience with scenario analysis.
  • Proficiency in SQL is a plus.
  • Bonus if you possess experience in data visualization and dashboard development.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
