  • Support the hospital's mission and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Engage in the development of strategic plans and objectives to promote growth and service provision to the community.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of operational data to identify needs and implement effective solutions for financial operations.
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality, encouraging staff to identify and address safety and quality concerns.
  • Manage the preparation and oversight of operational, project, and capital budgets, ensuring effective risk management and financial controls.

General Expectations:

  • Commit to exceeding expectations of physicians and staff in all job functions.
  • Maintain all necessary hospital accreditations and comply with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field is required; a graduate degree or CPA designation is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in hospital finance and accounting, with prior experience as a Hospital Controller or CFO.
  • Demonstrated managerial experience and a comprehensive understanding of hospital financial reporting and operations.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare finance practices, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Proficient in financial management, accounting systems, and risk management.
  • Strong leadership, strategic management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
