About the Position

The Inbound Warehouse Lead is a key role within the Kenco Group, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse facilities. As a leader, you will be responsible for coaching and guiding a team of warehouse associates to ensure the efficient and safe movement of products and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and develop new warehouse associates and forklift drivers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking and reporting on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
  • Coordinate and oversee the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality customer service.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Provide backup support to the supervisor as needed, ensuring continuity of operations and maintaining high standards of performance.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, with 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Valid forklift operator certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse management software.
